The Felted Fedora is knitted from 100 % wool and felted in the washing machine to get a thick fabric that holds its shape.

The pattern is written for a head circumference of 22" and can be adjusted a little in the felting process.

The materials needed are 350 yards of wool yarn, #8 (5 mm) circular knitting needles in 24" length, and #8 (5 mm) double pointed knitting needles.

The sample shown was knitted using Classic Wool Merino by Patons (100% wool; medium weight; 3.5 oz, 100 g, 210 yards per skein) in 'Magenta'.

The 4 page pattern is printed with full color front on 8.5" x 11" heavyweight paper.
